Naylor Building Partnerships Inc. is currently seeking a hardworking, service focused leader to join our team as an Operations Manager. The successful candidate will work out of our Richmond Hill office location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the HVAC service department
  • Planning and executing multiple projects to plan and budget
  • Completing quotes for upcoming work and supporting the sales team
  • Maintaining excellent customer relations, resolving issues and concerns and act as technical resource to customer and field employees
  • Overseeing quality control and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Supervising, motivating and coaching field technicians and contractors
  • Ensuring health and safety policies and company policies are adhered to

Requirements:

  • Licensed Journeyperson (313A Refrigeration & A/C Systems Mechanic) with a Gas Fitter 1 license, or a University degree/ College Diploma holder in a related field (i.e. Business, Engineering, CET)
  • A minimum of 3 - 5 years related industry experience (industrial, commercial, institutional) is required, with previous supervisory experience considered an asset.
  • Proficiency with MS Project, MS Office  (Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • Solid knowledge of government regulations and industry practices (i.e. OHSA, codes, etc.)
  • Ability to read blue prints, estimating experience considered an asset
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills and the ability to problem solve
  • Candidates must have access to a car and possess a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
